Mental Health Support
START supports a number of Wellbeing Drop-in’s across the City of Salford in partnership with Salford City Councils Health Improvement Service (HIS).
The aim of these groups is to promote mental health recovery, focusing on community participation and reduction of social isolation.
The groups offer a safe and supportive environment, where people can meet, chat, socialise and engage with activities such as Art, Bingo, Pool and Table Tennis dependent upon the location.
Service users are also encouraged to look at other opportunities available to them within the city to help with their wellbeing, including groups at Start, the HIS and wider community leisure groups and activities.
