Start in Salford creative arts and wellbeing centre

Mental Health Support

START supports a number of Wellbeing/Social Support Groups across the City of Salford in partnership with Salford City Councils Health Improvement Service (HIS).

The aim of these groups is to promote mental health recovery, focusing on community participation and reduction of social isolation.

The groups offer a safe and supportive environment, where people can meet, chat, socialise and engage with different activities.

Service users are also encouraged to look at other opportunities available to them within the city to help with their wellbeing, including groups at Start, the HIS and wider community leisure groups and activities.
